Trigger Warning - Promiscuous Behaviour: Dents breed with scratches when no one is looking

Panel damage like this damages brand value and reputation.
This is the story of Bob's Mercedes X Classy Ute

Imagine providing an employee with a gleaning brand new black Mercedes-Benz X Class ute that looked sharp when lined up in your glossy brochure with the rest of your team and their beautifully signwritten black X Class utes. Your employee - let's just call him Bob, is based in the deep South and for some reason his ute uses more fuel, and has higher maintenance costs than the rest of the team. Bob's quick with the response 'it's the roads and distances he has to travel'.

Three years roll by and Bob decides it's time to leave the company - coincidentally it's just before the lease is about to expire on his ute. Bob's replacement arrives on the job and calls you to say... I'm not driving that heap of s&*#t. Stunned at this - Bob was always on about how great the Merc was and how he looked after it; you arrange a replacement.

The vehicles are swapped over and then you get the bad news in the form of a quote to rectify the damage around the vehicle. It's practically a repaint... a new tailgate, both tail lights are broken, the front bumper needs to be replaced and there are numerous scratches or minor dents over almost every panel. And it needed a full set of tyres. Bob's best kept secret was finally exposed... and now you know why he left the company.

Mercedes-Benz X Class front bumper damage is only the beginning of a long list of vehicle defects
Spot the bald tyre and front bumper damage

This was actually the horror backstory that was relayed to us recently by a new client. We explained to him our almost famous line that "Dents breed with scratches when no one is looking". However, a regular monthly or bi-monthly remote vehicle inspection carried out by the driver in a few minutes is sufficient to deny this kind of promiscuity.

So here's the skinny... if Bob had to do a monthly Auto IntelliDent inspection his boss based at the other end of the country would know exactly how Bob is treating his tool of trade and causing damage to your brand in the process. Corrective action could then be taken - bald tyres would no longer be a safety hazard on slippery southern roads, while his fuel and maintenance costs would be similar to his fellow workers.

There is only one question remaining to be answered... would you be annoyed; or relieved that at last there is a practical solution? www.intellidents.online
